Vickie Guerrero Benson, an American professional wrestling personality and manager, has a strained relationship with her youngest daughter, Sherilyn Amber Guerrero.
The former WWE star was married to professional wrestler Eddie Guerrero from 1990 until his passing in 2005.
Together, they had two daughters: Shaul Marie Guerrero, a retired professional wrestler and ring announcer, born on October 14, 1990, and Sherilyn Amber Guerrero, born on July 8, 1995.
Nearly a decade after Eddie’s death, Vickie remarried. She tied the knot with her partner, Kris Benson, on September 12, 2015.
However, the Guerrero family made headlines when Sherilyn accused her stepfather, Kris Benson, of sexual assault—claims which led to a public feud between her and her mother, Vickie Guerrero.

Back in March 2023, Sheriyln Guerrero posted a video on TikTok accusing her stepdad, Kris Benson, of sexual assault and her estranged relationship with her mother, Vickie, and sister.
In the now-viral video, Sherilyn said that she was sexually assaulted on a cruise by her stepfather, Kris, in 2020, before the lockdowns from COVID-19.

She began her confession by stating that many people ask her if she talks to her mother, Vickie, or her sister, but the answer is no.
Sherilyn further added that she would love to talk to her mom and her sister, and that she needs them.
Similarly, Sherilyn continued her confession by stating:
“I’m so tired of crying, but I also feel like this is just gonna help me not feel like I’m keeping this giant secret. So come 2020, right before COVID, there was a cruise that my family had went on, and Basically, on this cruise, I got sexually assaulted, and the unfourtunate part is that it was by my stepdad.”

She continued:
“And was I the only one? No, but that’s not my business to put their story out there, but it happened to me. And the fact that I protected somebody who doesn’t clearly give a shit about me is beyond me.”
Similarly, Sherilyn claimed that her mother, Vickie, told her that the alleged incident was a ‘mistake’ and ‘not who he is.’
As Sherilyn’s story continued to grab people’s attention, her mother, Vickie, released a statement regarding her daughter’s confession as false accusations.
Vickie, in her now-deleted Instagram post, wrote:
“There are two sides to a story! Over 15 years, my relationship with Sherilyn has been hostile, and I have tried to deal with a narcissistic person. Not only myself but close friends of Sherilyn of over 10 years and family have cut ties with her because of her manic behaviors.”

Vickie further claimed that she tried to do therapy with her daughter, Sherilyn, but Sherilyn always said no and that Sherilyn was drunk on a cruise and having guys in her room.
“Sherilyn please tell your side of your character of being drunk on the cruise and having guys in your room then crying because you think you were raped then demanded us to go to a pharmacy in Bahamas for Plan B. You want to play dirty and sling Kris and I thru the mud….I have my own pile of mud FROM YOU.”
Likewise, Vickie also claimed that her husband, Kris, had financially supported Sherilyn.
“Are you enjoying the 2 cars that Kris bought you, the 3 apartments you bailed out of, and the 2 surgeries we paid for you. Your lies will catch up nd I feel bad for you,” Vickie continued.
Lastly, Vickie wrote that she will now sever her relationship with her daughter.
“Sherilyn, not once have you spoken to Kris about the situation, but you can go on social media and tell all….but that’s how you communicate….another example of you manipulating and harassing others.I am so done with you and tired of the years of your manipulation, lies, and disrespect. I kept quiet for years because you never seeked therapy to learn how to have an adult conversation with me. It has always been your way or nothing at all. Ok Sherilyn, not only will I see you in court but you and I will no longer be related.”
While it is unclear whether the case is ongoing, it appears that the mother and daughter have not yet reconciled, and their estranged relationship continues.
