A young football player, Trevor, was assaulted by another student, who thought it would be funny to hit him with a football helmet.
He is known for his dedication and love for the sport. Moreover, Trevor has been a committed member of the team and has big dreams for his future in the sport.
Trevor Suffered a Serious Helmet-Related Concussion!
Recently, Trevor faced a heartbreaking situation; he was assaulted by other students.
According to a Facebook post by his mother, Samantha Mirick, Trevor was accidentally attacked by another student at school.
They thought it would be a joke to hit him with a football helmet. Unfortunately, the hit resulted in Trevor suffering a concussion.
While the school is handling the situation, Trevor is now coming to terms with the seriousness of his injury.
His mother expressed her heartbreak, saying:
I know Trevor would never intentionally hurt someone & to have someone be so careless with his wellbeing makes me nearly sick to my stomach.
As a result, Trevor will not be playing football for a while and will be taking time to heal.
His school allowed him to stay home as he continued to struggle with headaches and concentration.
Despite this, Trevor remains committed to supporting his team, “the BUFFS,” from the sidelines.
His family, especially his mother, asked for prayers and support saying:
I’m asking for prayers and to keep him in your thoughts & prayers at this difficult time! He will still be standing on the n sidelines supporting his BUFFS!!
Trevor’s story has touched many hearts, and they are pouring out support and prayers.
