Arthur Smith, an American professional football coach currently serving as the offensive coordinator in the NFL, is not only excelling as a coach but also as a devoted husband to his longtime wife, Allison Sossaman.

Both natives of Memphis, Tennessee, Arthur Smith and his wife, Mary Allison Sossaman, tied the knot in June 2011 and have been happily married for over a decade.

While the exact date their romantic relationship began is unknown, as both Arthur Smith and Allison prefer to maintain a low profile, the couple did attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill together.

Furthermore, during their tenure at the University of North Carolina, Arthur Smith showcased his exceptional football skills as a guard for the Tar Heels football team, while his wife, Allison, excelled academically, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Allison was also a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority, Carolina Week (Student News Program), and many more at North Carolina.

Although Arthur Smith isn’t active on social media and has not shared much about his personal life, his wife, Allison, often shares glimpses of their adventurous and happy life with their kids on social media.

Arthur Smith and Allison Sossaman are proud parents of three beautiful kids, including two sons, Liam and Tanner, and one daughter named Sophie.

The couple welcomed their first child, son Tanner, in 2013, and two years later, they were blessed with their second child and only daughter, Sophie.

Furthermore, Arthur and Allison welcomed their third child, son William ‘Liam’ Smith, in October 2019, when Arthur was serving as the Offensive Coordinator of the Tennessee Titans.

Liam arrived prematurely, about four-and-a-half weeks ahead of schedule.

In an interview, right after welcoming his third child, Arthur expressed his gratitude to his wife Allison, stating:

“You try to balance everything, and it takes a special wife to handle this profession. My wife, Allison, does a great job. It’s like anything. If you don’t have things that are smooth at home, it makes the job harder. I give all the credit in the world to her.”

While Arthur Smith began his career in sports, becoming one of the renowned NFL coaches, his longtime wife, Allison Sossaman, chose her career path in news reporting and has been showcasing her amazing communication skills for over 15 years.

Furthermore, earning her Journalism degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004, Allison Sossaman began her reporting career as a news anchor, reporter, and producer at WCTI-TV.

After serving over three years as a news anchor at WCTI-TV, Allison joined Journal Broadcast Group as a News anchor and reporter in 2008 and held that position for a year.

Allison has been working as a news reporter for Newsport Television since 2009 and continues to thrive in her reporting career.

Talking about her family, Allison Sossaman was born on February 2, 1982, to her late father, Kenneth Sossaman, and mother, Judy Sossaman.

Her father, Kenneth, who passed away in February 2002 at the age of 52, was the president and CEO of Sossaman and Associates and an active member of the Memphis community, serving on the boards of the Orpheum Theatre and the University of Memphis Alumni Board.

Allison has a brother named Gregory Wallace Sossaman, a graduate of Vanderbilt University and co-founder of DSScorp.
