Sabrina Ionescu is blessed with one elder brother, Andrei, and one twin brother, Edward Ionescu.

The Walnut Creek native, born on December 6, 1997, played college basketball for the Oregon Ducks.
She became the only NCAA Division I basketball player to record 2,000 points, 1,000 assists, and 1,000 rebounds in her collegiate career.

Sabrina Ionescu was born to her parents, Dan Ionescu and Liliana Blaj. She grew up with one elder brother, Andrei, who is nine years older than her, and a twin brother, Edward “Eddy” Ionescu.
Her parents migrated to the United States in 1990 after the Romanian Revolution following the fall of communist rule.
The eldest of Ionescu siblings, Andrei, was born in Bucharest around 1989, while the twins were born in Bay Area in 1997.

Since their childhood, the two brothers always stood beside their sister. They share a close relationship and used to play basketball together.
