Quinnen Williams, a popular NFL defensive tackle, was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on December 5, 1997.

Even though he initially committed to play college football for Auburn University, he later played for the University of Alabama.

After redshirting in 2016, Quinnen played 14 games as a redshirt freshman the following year, gaining 20 tackles and two sacks.

Moreover, he also had two tackles in the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship win over Georgia.

Acknowledging his exceptional potential, the New York Jets chose him as the third overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Since then, he has been playing as a defensive tackle for the New York Jets in the National Football League (NFL).

Quinnen Williams’ Close Relationship With Family

New York Jets Quinnen’s world revolves around his family. His supportive family has always provided him with all the necessary encouragement and guidance.

No matter what, William always keeps his family at the top, even if he must sacrifice his happiness.

His parents, love, and support played a vital role in shaping his successful career. Given all his achievements, he has moved heaven and earth to make them proud.

Lost His Mother In His Teenage

It is obvious that the NFL star is close to every family member, especially his mother, Marquischa Henderson Williams.

Unfortunately, he lost his mother when he was just 13. She died in 2010, battling with a cancer for quite long.

Devasted after her death, Williams buried the hurt inside his heart and never let his father and siblings know about it.

Instead, he used his pain to fuel his success and became one of the best defensive linemen in the college year.

After Marquischa passed away, his father, Quincy Williams Sr., was left alone to care for him and his other three siblings.

His father hid his emotions, tried everything, and gave his kids the love of both mother and father.

He learned a lifelong respect for hard work by losing a mother early and witnessing his father struggle.

The Jets’ All-Pro defensive tackle often mentions that she has always taught him to finish what he started.

Quinnen Williams’ Extended Family

Quinnen Willians shares a strong sibling bond with his younger brother, Quincy Williams. Interestingly, the duo are not only brothers but also a teammate.

Both of them play vital positions in the football. While the elder one serves as a defensive tackle for the New York Jets, the younger is an American football linebacker.

His uncle, Charles Henderson II, and aunts, Ivy Allen and Marilyn Jackson, treat the four siblings no less than their kids.
