After her parents divorced, Mike Tomlin’s wife, Kiya Winston, was raised by her mother, Susan Tucker Winston, alongside her sister, Mia.

Kiya Winston, the wife of Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, is a successful fashion designer and entrepreneur.

The couple met at the College of William & Mary in the 1990s, where she studied pre-med and kinesiology, while Mike was a wide receiver on the football team.

After dating through college, Mike and Kiya tied the knot in 1996. Their marriage took place shortly after Mike began his coaching career, starting as a graduate assistant at Virginia Military Institute in 1995.

The couple welcomed three children: sons Michael Dean “Dino” (born 2000) and Mason (born 2002), and daughter Harlyn Quinn (born 2006).

While much is known about her career and life with Mike, significantly less is known about her parents and family background.

Kiya Winston’s Mother Inspired Her To Pursue Her Goals!

Kiya was born on January 13, 1974, in Morristown, New Jersey. She grew up in a close-knit family, but her parents divorced when she was young.

The fashion designer and her sister Mia were primarily raised by their mother, who ensured they had access to education and basic necessities.

Though the name of Kiya’s father isn’t publicly known, her mother played a significant role in her upbringing.

Kiya has spoken about how her mother’s hard work inspired her to pursue her own goals and become financially independent.

Growing up in Morristown, Kiya attended Morristown High School, graduating in 1992. Her mother’s support allowed her to explore her passion for fashion from a young age.

She started sewing and designing clothes when she was just a child, even asking for a sewing machine one Christmas. This early interest in fashion became the foundation for her successful career as the founder of the Kiya Tomlin clothing brand.

Kiya’s mother and grandmother still live in Morristown, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

While Kiya and Mike now reside in Pittsburgh with their three children, Michael Dean “Dino,” Mason, and Harlyn Quinn, she occasionally visits her hometown to stay connected with her family.
