Brittany Mahomes’ parents, Diana Lindenberg and Scott Matthews, are proud of her athletic accomplishments, and they have always cheered her on.

Sadly, her parents divorced, and they began co-parenting from different parts of the Longhorn State.

After graduating from Whitehouse High School, Brittany played soccer at the University of Texas at Tyler for the Texas–Tyler Patriots women’s soccer team.

She was the first player in program history to score three hat-tricks and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology.

She signed with Icelandic club Afturelding/Fram when it competed in the third-tier 2. deild kvenna in May 2017. Later, it earned promotion to 1. deild kvenna.

Brittany retired from soccer in 2017 and founded a workout brand, Brittany Lynne Fitness, an online service that she promotes as an influencer.

The National Women’s Soccer League awarded an expansion team to an ownership group that included her on December 7, 2020.

She announced the team’s rebranding as the Kansas City Current, previously Kansas City NWSL, to build a stadium for the team on the Berkley Riverfront Park of Kansas City, Missouri.

Brittany Mahomes’ Parents are the Supportive Foundation

Brittany Lynne Mahomes, the daughter of Diana Lindenberg and Scott Matthews, was born on August 31, 1995, in Whitehouse, Texas.

She grew up with her brother, Devin, who completed a six-year term as a missile technician on ballistic missile submarines.

Brittany’s parents’ unwavering support laid the foundation of her athletic journey.

Despite the personal challenges, their constant presence and encouragement have been a defining feature of her journey from an aspiring soccer player to a public figure.

Diana and Scott divorced when Brittany was young, leading to a co-parenting relationship across Texas. Diana remained in their hometown of Whitehouse, while Scott relocated to Dallas.

I don’t even ever remember them being together. I don’t know what it’s like to have parents that aren’t divorced. I mean, it’s been my whole life.

However, the distance never diminished their involvement or pride in their daughter’s ambitions.

They were dedicated fixtures on the sidelines, with Diana making it to every single one of Brittany’s college soccer games and Scott attending a significant number as well.

After their separation, they built new chapters in their lives. Scott remarried and settled in Dallas, though he has kept details of his current spouse private.

Meanwhile, Diana’s path included a marriage to Paul Massey, a Whitehouse native and soccer coach with whom Brittany shared a close bond.

Tragically, Paul passed away in 2018 after collapsing outside Arrowhead Stadium.

Diana eventually found love again with Lance Lindenberg, and their relationship quickly blossomed. They bonded over a shared passion for Chiefs games, tennis, and travel.

They got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2021 and married just two months later.

Brittany Mahomes’ Parents’ Net Worth Is Their Least Interesting Asset

Brittany Mahomes’ parents stand out for their commitment to privacy in the high-gloss world of professional sports, where financial details are often a public spectacle.

They have successfully kept their earnings and net worth out of the tabloids, choosing a life of normalcy despite their family’s global fame.

Diana Lindenberg has built a stable and rewarding career in healthcare.

She has been working as a physical therapist assistant at UT Health East Texas since 2021, following a previous role at Reliant Rehab.

Her income reflects that of a dedicated and skilled medical professional based on average salary data for her profession in Texas, which ranges from approximately $29 to $42 per hour.

Her educational journey from Kilgore College to The University of Texas at Tyler laid the foundation for this hands-on career far from the red carpet.

On the other hand, Scott Matthews has been even more guarded about his professional life, with his career remaining a private matter.

However, he has captured public attention for his endearing loyalty to the Green Bay Packers. This fandom persists even with his son-in-law, Patrick Mahomes, leading the Kansas City Chiefs.

Diana and Scott Matthews value the private, hardworking lives even though their exact net worth is unknown. Their definition of Rich is Respect, Integrity, Character, and Honor.
