The Oklahoma City Thunder’s power forward Jaylin Williams grew up with his three brothers and one sister.

Jaylin Williams helped the Oklahoma City Thunder grab a 107-123 victory over the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 on Sunday, June 8, 2025.

He played for only 2 minutes, scoring 2 points and recording 1 assist.

Before Game 2 of the NBA Finals, Williams made a lighthearted comment that quickly gained traction online. He wrote,

However, Williams and the Oklahoma City Thunder are ready to take on the Indiana Pacers in Game 3 on June 11, 2025.

He was selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round of the 2022 NBA draft with the 34th overall pick, becoming the first player of Vietnamese descent to be drafted in the NBA.

In his Summer league debut, he scored two points and six rebounds in a 98-77 win against the Utah Jazz in the Salt Lake City Summer League.

On July 19, 2022, Williams signed with the Thunder.

Jaylin Williams’ Three Brothers Have Always Supported Him In Achieving His Basketball Dreams

Jaylin Williams has three brothers, Mike, Marquis, and Montel Williams.

As per the reports, Marquis attended Northside High School, where he was a basketball state champion in 2007.

On the other hand, Montel Williams graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2012 and later attended Southern New Hampshire University and Bismarck State College.

He served as the project manager and engineer at Architectural Glass & Metals, Inc. from June 2013 to July 2017.

Montel was a night auditor at Hampton Inn and Suites for two years and three months. He also served as a field service technician at Oil States Energy Services L.L.C.

Since December 2024, Montel has been serving as the full-time senior field service technician at Oil State Energy Services.

Jaylin’s third brother, Mike Williams, is unknown, but he has always supported Jaylin in pursuing his career in basketball.

Jaylin Williams’ Sister, Synora Phillips, Is A Former Northside High School Basketball Player

Williams’ sister, Synora Phillips, was a standout member of the varsity girls’ basketball team of Northside High School in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Wearing jersey #23, she played a significant role in Northside’s success during the 2007-2008 season, contributing across multiple stat lines.

Over 23 games, she averaged 7.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and an impressive 3.2 steals per game, ranking her fifth in the state of Arkansas and first in the 7A West Conference for steals.

Synora had several notable performances, including a 15-point outing against Van Buren and a 5-steal game versus Bentonville.

According to Synora’s Facebook profile, she graduated from the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2010.
