The Potts Camp School’s young girl was bullied because her shoes were purchased from Walmart.
A recent incident on a Potts Camp School bus has raised concerns among community members after a student reportedly bullied a young girl as she was wearing shoes purchased from Walmart.
According to Sharon Campbell, a resident of Laws Hill, Mississippi, who shared the clips on her Facebook, a Potts Camp School student endured harassment on the school bus over her shoes.
Campbell expressed outrage that the bus driver allegedly allowed the bullying. She wrote,

The post gained traction, amassing tens of thousands of reactions and shares, as people across Mississippi and beyond raised their concerns about both bullying and the lack of action from school staff.
Campbell, who has been in direct contact with the young girl’s mother, said she was granted permission to share the story publicly in hopes of raising awareness and support.
Social media users took to the comment section and raised their concerns. Na Boogie from Philadelphia wrote,

The post also addressed rumors circulating online about the children’s living situation.
Campbell firmly denied claims that the kids do not live with their mother, calling such comments “drama” that distracts from the actual issue.
Additionally, parents are urging the Potts Camp School officials to investigate and take steps to ensure the safety of students.
