Lindsey Horan grew up in Golden, Colorado, near Denver and attended Golden High School but played club soccer with the Colorado Rush instead.
Her impressive soccer skills led her to join the Colorado Edge and later become one of the youngest players on the United States under-17 women’s national team.
Despite receiving recognition as a Parade Magazine High School All-American during her sophomore year at Golden High School, Lindsey did not play high school soccer.
In 2012, she was named the top-ranked college prospect by ESPN, but she decided to forgo her college career and signed with the French club Paris Saint-Germain FC (PSG) instead of playing for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
