Sue and Mike are also avid football fans, and they instilled the love for sports in their daughter, Julie Hampton, and their two sons, Steve and Scott.

Julie Hampton’s parents, Sue and Michael ‘Mike’, are both retired from their professional careers and now serve as full-time happy and loving grandparents living in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Her mother, Sue Hampton, a native of Chamblee, Georgia, is a former family and consumer sciences teacher at Milton High School and touched the lives of many students as an amazing educator.
While not much is known about her professional journey, Sue’s Facebook profile displays that she studied Family and Consumer Sciences Education at the University of Georgia.
Sue also attended Chamblee Charter High School in Georgia.
Talking about Julie’s father, Mike Hampton is a retired commercial leading professional.
Earning his BBA from the University of Georgia in 1975 and his JD from Woodrow Wilson College of Law in 1979, Mike began his career as an area operations manager at Chrysler Capital Corporation in 1986 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Similarly, after serving his position for seven years, Mike became the assistant vice president of The CIT Group/Business Credit, Inc., and was later promoted to senior credit and operations manager of the company.
He also served as the vice president of GMAC Commercial Finance from 2001 to 2007 and vice president of Prudential Capital Group-Commercial Asset Finance from 2007 to 2012.
