Jessetin Bell, a beloved student at Unless U, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday night, May 26, 2025.

His loss is deeply felt by the entire Unless U community, where he was known to find joy on the baseball field.

He was a proud and enthusiastic player in the Miracle League, a program designed for children and adults with special needs.

Jessetin played alongside his friend Emily, and the field was one of the places where his joyful spirit truly shone.

Whether he was swinging the bat, running the bases, or cheering on his teammates, Jessetin brought energy, laughter, and heart to every game.

Family And Friends Mourn The Loss Of Jessetin Bell

Brad Hudson shared how deeply shaken he was upon hearing the news of Jessetin’s passing.

He also spoke highly of Jessetin’s father, calling him a great man and someone he is proud to call a friend.

Brad’s heart aches for Jessetin’s family and everyone the young man touched.

Jessetin played Miracle League baseball with Emily. He was a joy. I’ve never felt a loss of breath quite like i did when i saw the news. His dad is a great man and i’m proud to call him a friend. My heart hurts deeply for his family and those he touched.
It’s a sad week in our home, but we are so grateful for the brief time we shared with Jessetin.

Similarly, Aunt Connie Alexander Bradford said that her nephew touched many lives during his 20 years on earth.

She expressed her love for him, fondly remembering his funny and unique personality.

Jessetin was born with a rare genetic condition called Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, which brought many serious health challenges into his life, including epilepsy, sleep apnea, and developmental delays.

From a young age, Jessetin had big dreams. He wanted to become a chef, not just to cook, but to share his passion and creativity through food.

College was something he looked forward to, a place where he could learn and grow.

He also imagined the joy of driving one day, reading new books, and discovering more about the world around him.

One of his biggest dreams was to live what he called a “Spicy Life.” He dreamed of owning a food truck that would travel around the city, serving meals full of flavor and heart.

That food truck, he hoped, would someday grow into a full restaurant, a place where people could enjoy delicious food and be reminded that joy and beauty can shine through, even during tough times.

Rest in peace, Jessetin Bell!
