According to the reports, his father, Antonor, used to work in traffic maintenance in Hueytown, while his mother, Loretta, was a housewife. She lovingly called Jameis “little J-boo,” which later evolved into his nickname “Jaboo.”

From an early age, Winston’s father focused on keeping his son well-behaved and teaching him discipline.

When Jameis Winston faced legal issues at Florida State, his father said, “How do I know my son was innocent? Because I raised him.”
