Jaycee Horn began playing football at Alpharetta High School and played in the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
He committed to play college football at the University of South Carolina, where he was named a freshman All-Southeastern Conference.
After the dismissal of former head coach Will Muschamp, he opted out of the remainder of the season to prepare for the 2021 NFL draft.
The Carolina Panthers selected him in the first round with the 8th overall pick and signed a fully guaranteed four–year contract on June 15, 2021.
On the other hand, Jimmy Horn Jr. began playing football at Seminole High School and joined South Florida. However, he entered the NCAA transfer portal and transferred to Colorado in 2023.
The Panthers selected him in the sixth round with the 208th overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

Jaycee Carrington Horn, the son of Joe and LaCreshia Horn, was born on November 26, 1999, in Alpharetta, Georgia. His parents raised him alongside his five siblings.
Joe was a notable player in the NFL who began playing college football at Itawamba Community College. Although he signed with the Baltimore Stallions of the Canadian Football League, he never played in a game.
He had a remarkable performance signing with the Memphis Mad Dogs in 1995. Later, the Kansas City Chiefs selected him in the fifth round of the 1996 NFL draft.
Joe also played for the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons before his retirement on June 25, 2010. He was selected for induction into the Saints Hall of Fame in May 2010.

Jaycee Horn’s Brother Played Professional Football as a Wide Receiver
30-year-old Joe Horn Jr. was born on September 16, 1994, in Tupelo, Mississippi.He began playing football at Peachtree Ridge and led his team to the state playoffs. He committed to Northeast Mississippi despite offers from UCLA, East Carolina, and Southern Mississippi.
Joe was named to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-State Second-Team in 2014.
However, he transferred to Missouri Western State, where he caught fifteen passes for 246 yards, including a season-high 58 yards against Washburn in 2018.
He was undrafted in the 2019 NFL draft, and the Baltimore Ravens signed him on May 14, 2019. Later, he was released during the final roster cuts on August 30, 2019.
The Houston Roughnecks drafted him in the 2020 XFL Draft and traded him to the New York Guardians on January 17, 2020. His contract was terminated when the league suspended operations on April 10, 2020.
