An all-time great Leslie County football player, Randall Cobb, passed away on Sunday.
Randall Cobb was born to his mother, Evelyn Cobb, and his father, Robert Cobb. He grew up with his three brothers, Kevin, Rodney, and Bobby Cobb.
His mother, Evelyn, peacefully passed away at her residence in London, KY, on February 20, 2024, at 82.
According to Randall’s official Facebook page, he is originally from Hyden, Kentucky, and attended Leslie County High School in 1991.
Randall attended the Union College in Kentucky from 1995 to 1998 and later graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2022.
He was among the senior class members of the Leslie County High School football team in the 1994-95 season.
From April 2004 to August 2014, he served as a network engineer at Senture LLC. He served as a franchisee with Dunkin’ Donuts.
Before his role in Dunkin’, he served as President of both the Triple R Route 66 Market (2011-2018) and Triple R General Store (2009-2018).

Former football player at Leslie County High School, Randall Cobb, took his last breath on Sunday, July 27, 2025. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
The Eagles Nest, which promotes young athletes of Leslie, took to their official Facebook handle and announced the death of Randall. They wrote,
Eagle fans, we are saddened to learn of the passing of an all-time great Leslie County football player, Randall Cobb. Everyone, please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. A #legend gone way too soon.

Brittany Tully Lee from Corbin, Kentucky, offered her heartfelt condolences and sent prayers to Randall’s family. She wrote,

Glenda Couch Hubbard, who studied at Eastern Kentucky University, also mourned Randall’s loss and sent prayers to his family to help them stay strong during this heartbreaking moment. She wrote,

Randall Cobb Is survived By His Wife, Christy Cobb, And Three Children
Football player Randall Cobb tied the knot with Christy Cobb on April 22, 2017.
According to Christy’s Facebook profile, she is originally from Williamsburg, Kentucky, and currently resides in London, Kentucky.
She went to Williamsburg High School and studied limited medical radiography at Spencerian College. Later, she studied nursing at Lincoln Memorial University.
Sadly, Randall and Christy’s married life ended after eight years following the death of Randall.
Christy and Randall were blessed with three daughters. Recently, they celebrated their daughter Haiden’s birthday.
