Former LD Bell Football Star Kafo Tuha Killed in Late-Night Shooting Outside Marina’s Bar — Leaves Behind Wife Feao and 5 Children

Kafo Tuha, a former defensive tackle for LD Bell High School, passed away during a late-night fight in the parking lot of Marina’s Bar and Grill at 2 a.m. September 1, 2025.

He was married to Feao Tuha, and they had five children.

Kafo began playing football at LD Bell High School, where he was an all-district football player. He played under coach Mark Smith and was named team captain.

Moreover, he earned the FCA Tom Landry Award and played college football for Houston Christian University.

Sadly, his life was cut short at the age of 30. Euless police found his body in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds and rushed him to the hospital, but he did not survive.

The shooting incident occurred around 2 a.m. Monday, just as the restaurant was closing. The fight broke out between multiple groups in the parking lot before the shots were fired.

Besides Kafo, two other individuals were also injured in the fight and were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The search for the shooters continues, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact investigators.

Kafo’s untimely passing deeply saddened the entire community, and many paid their heartfelt tribute to him.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my nephew, Kafo Tuha, beloved son of my first cousin, Sitaleki Tuha. Words cannot fully express the sorrow I feel at this loss. My heart goes out to his wife, children, siblings, and parents during this time of unimaginable grief. May the Lord bless and comfort his family, and may His peace rest upon all who are mourning Kafo’s passing. My deepest condolences to the Tuha family and all who loved him.

Kafo Tuha and Feao Tuha Were High School Sweethearts

Kafo and Feao Tuha’s relationship was built on faith, family, and following one’s passion.

Their story began at LD Bell High School, and they continued their education at Houston Christian University, forging a bond that would become the foundation of their future.

Feao is a firm believer in young love.

She took a leap of faith and married Kafo at the young age of 19. Her belief led to a beautiful and bustling life together. The couple has five children, creating a complete and lively home.

Professionally, Feao has channeled her inspiration into a successful career. She is the owner of Feao Tuha Photography, based in Dallas, Texas, and captures the moments that matter most.

Since founding her business in January 2019, she has drawn inspiration from timeless sources, including authentic love stories, the nostalgia of old photo albums, and the gentle glow of sweet sunsets.

Furthermore, Kafo and Feao Tuha’s deep commitment to their Christian faith was the core of their lives. They often discuss the importance of abiding in God’s word, which provides strength through the beautiful chaos of everyday life.

Like any parent, Kafo was familiar with the exhausting routines of family life. He once humorously revealed that for his 27th birthday, his greatest wish was to sleep in and have a break from the school run; a feeling every parent can understand.

Through it all, their gratitude for each other remained central, and Feao has publicly expressed her thankfulness.

Thanking God today for another year with you that I don’t deserve, and for a man that is willing to lead this marriage and this family during a time like this.

Kafo Tuha’s Family Mourns the Tragic Loss

Kafo Setaleki Tuha, the son of Setaleki and Makeleta Tuha, was born on October 12, 1994, in Fort Worth, Texas.

His parents raised him in a close-knit family alongside his two sisters, Siu A. Tuha and Victoria Tuha Finau.

Kafo’s untimely passing saddened the whole Tuha family. He passed away in a shooting incident on September 1, 2025.

He was a beloved husband to his wife, Feao, and a devoted father to his five children.

The former defensive tackle for LD Bell High School was known for his strength and presence on the field. His vibrant spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He will be remembered for the joy he brought into every room. He had a gift for laughter and was always cracking a joke, filling his home with happiness and light.

Kafo leaves behind a beautiful family who loved him dearly. His memory will be forever cherished by his wife, children, and the community that mourns him.

The Tuha family will soon announce the celebration of life for the former defensive tackle. His family deserves justice and peace during this unimaginable time.
