The Former Columbia High School football player Devin McCullough has passed away, leaving friends and family in deep shock, especially his loving wife, Yana, and their son, Drake.
The reason behind Devin’s untimely death is reported to be an involvement in a tragic accident on August 24, 2025.

Devin McCullough was part of the Class of 2018 at Columbia High School, where he played football alongside his best friend, Jermaine Barnes Jr.
Although he did not continue his football career for long, he later shifted his focus to engineering. Before his passing, he worked as a mechanic at the energy company ERI.
Devin’s tragic death in an accident has brought deep sorrow to his friends and family. He was not only a high school football star but also a loving father and caring husband.
Among his friends, he was known as the smartest and kindest, always helping others and putting their needs before his own.
One of his friends shared a heartfelt condolence on social media on behalf of his high school classmates, expressing deep grief over the loss of his late friend.

Devin was loved and adored by many, but our class knew his everyday kindness from years of school with him. To know Devin was to love Devin. His unwavering authenticity inspired us all. Like most high schools, cliques often prevail, but not for Devin. He effortlessly bridged gaps with his remarkable coolness and smooth demeanor. While his friends express their grief through social media posts, his father, Henry McCullough, and mother, Sandra Gonzalez, are going through deep mourning and preparing for his final rites.
In addition to his parents, Devin is survived by his wife and son, as well as two brothers, Derrick and Clayton McCullough, and four sisters, Kimberly, Brandi, Adrian, and Ashton.
Funeral services will be held by Hathorn Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
Although Devin left the world at the young age of 26, he is remembered in the hearts of his large family and friends, to whom he gave years of cherished memories during his time on Earth.
