Jackson Pixley, a 19-year-old athlete from Dunham High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was a standout in both baseball and football.
On the baseball field, he wore the number #2 jersey in 2023, contributing to his team’s 23-14 record and helping secure a 2nd-place finish in their district, with a state ranking of 47.
In 2022, as a #30 jersey holder, Jackson’s team also posted a 23-14 record and was ranked 44th in the state, finishing 2nd in their district.
His high school career also saw success in 2021 when he wore jersey #17, helping his team to a 21-14 record and a state ranking of 37.
On the football field, Jackson played as #35 for the TDS Boys Varsity Football team, making an impact as a linebacker.
Beyond his athletic abilities, Jackson was a well-respected and kind-hearted individual.
He was known for his positive attitude, work ethic, and the genuine friendships he cultivated with his peers.
His presence on and off the field was a source of inspiration for many.
Following the news of Jackson’s passing, tributes poured in from friends and teammates who remembered him fondly.
