The family of 19-year-old Nolan Henke is grieving deeply after a devastating crash in Meeker County claimed his life.
Nolan’s parents, Missy Posusta and Chad, along with his brother Spencer, are surrounded by an outpouring of support from the Dassel-Cokato community as they navigate unimaginable heartbreak.
According to the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, Nolan was the passenger in a vehicle that struck a telephone pole early Sunday morning.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver, 19-year-old Elijah Miller of Cokato, was airlifted in critical condition.
First responders from several local departments worked together to extricate both young men from the wreckage.
For Nolan’s parents, the loss is indescribable. Relatives and community members have shared heartfelt messages, recognizing the pain they now carry.
Nolan’s aunt, Ashley Rose Marie Ostlie, expressed the family’s anguish in a public tribute, writing that her sister, Missy, and Chad are facing an unbearable loss.
“We are all so heartbroken,” she said, asking for prayers for Nolan’s parents and brother.
Friends and neighbors also voiced their sorrow, highlighting the kindness and energy Nolan brought to those around him.
Many noted how deeply his parents supported him throughout his journey—whether on the football field or in daily life.
The Dassel-Cokato Football program, where Nolan had been a standout player, urged the community to keep his parents and brother in their thoughts.
Messages of love and solidarity continue to pour in. Charlee Harris, a close family friend, described how Nolan and his parents had always been welcoming and generous.
“You, Spencer, and your parents have been so kind to me,” she said, emphasizing how strongly the family has touched others.
Nolan’s parents now face the difficult reality of life without their son, who was remembered as funny, genuine, and full of promise.
Family members say Nolan had so much planned for his future and that 19 years simply wasn’t enough.
As the investigation into the crash continues, the community is rallying around Missy, Chad, and Spencer, offering prayers and support.
For Nolan’s parents, the grief is heavy, but they are not carrying it alone.
