Reata Earnest Owens, a grandmother from Clarendon, Arkansas, is speaking out about what she calls a nightmare at Clarendon High School, where her grandson has been coming home hurt and scared.
She says teachers are cursing, threatening, and bullying her grandson in front of his classmates. And when she tried to get help from the school, it only got worse.
Initially, Rashad’s grandmother had not planned to go public. However, after seeing her grandson deal with this every day, she took to Facebook to share her account of the incident.
Reata Earnest Owens, who has had enough, wrote:
I wasn’t going to do this. But this is what a teacher at Clarendon HS did to my grandson, and I’m pissed off because the dirty administrators failed to protect him from her verbal assaults, abuse and threats.

She also shared a video of her grandson being scolded. In the background, we can hear, “I’m sick of them, I’m sick of them, dude. Get them a zero. Get them what they deserve.”
In the post, Reata described how two female teachers and their paraprofessionals have been degrading her grandson in class. The other kids laugh while he gets cursed out and threatened. She wrote:
He’s been coming home telling me that she and another female teacher been cursing him out n degrading him in front of the entire class (bullying n terroristic threats) both parapro’s while the other students laughed at him.

It’s what she calls bullying and even terroristic threats.
Things took a turn when Rashad tried to stand up for himself. He went to Coach Hudson, the school’s athletic director and dean of students, to report the incident of cursing.
But instead of listening, Coach Hudson turned it around. He told the grandmother that Rashad was the one cursing and being disrespectful.
Then, he sent the boy home for a whole day as punishment. “What’s the punishment for this?” she asked in her post.
As a grown woman, she admits she’d curse back if someone did that to her. But Rashad is just a child; he can’t fight back against what she calls a “sorry group of clowns.”
She further wrote that the school’s leaders aren’t helping, either. The grandmother points out that administrators take the teachers’ word over the students’ and don’t investigate properly.
And this isn’t the first big problem at Clarendon schools. She brought up a disturbing past incident at the same school district where the district let a young girl get molested by a coach.
Same school district that allowed a young girl to be molested by the Coach n promoted him to Dean of students at the Elementary school! Now hes locked up on a 3 million dollar bail.

Instead of firing the coach, they promoted him to the position of dean of students at the elementary school.
Now, the coach Caleb Hunter Gannon is locked up on a $3 million bail in the Prairie County Detention Center after being arrested on charges of felony rape and involving a child in explicit material.
Rashad’s granny pointed out that the school has cameras, saying, “I’m told they have cameras whose monitoring them!” But she believes they’re not being used to protect kids.
Ready to take her fight to the media and the Department of Human Services, Reata declared:
I don’t give a dam who child it is this is wrong n I intend to push it to the max!!! My next stop is news media n DHS!
Reata Earnest Owens
Above all, she is upset with Coach Hudson, who told her that her grandson was the most disrespectful child in the district, although he’s never heard him curse anyone.
She fired back, “im going to let the public decide whose the most disrespectful teachers in the district, since we are labeling folks.”
Reata ended her post with a Bible verse from Galatians 6:7-9, which says what you do comes back to you. “One thing about Rashad, he’s covered by the blood he has a praying granny!” she wrote, saying Rashad has a praying granny watching over him.
