This article was last updated by on

The second child of basketball legend LeBron James and the younger brother of USC Trojans shooting guard Bronny James, Bryce Maximus James attended Sierra Canyon School until he transferred to Campbell Hall School ahead of his junior year of high school.

Two days ago, Bryce, who recently celebrated his 16th birthday, made his long-awaited basketball debut for his new team, captivating the crowd of passionate fans and proud parents.

In his debut game for Campbell Hall, James displayed his exceptional talent with an impressive scoring outburst, recording a remarkable 21 points.

As a freshman playing in one of his first varsity games, his ability to lead the team in scoring highlights his immense potential and sets the stage for an exciting future in basketball.

The addition of Bryce has created an unstoppable force alongside Richard Hamilton II, son of former NBA star Richard “Rip” Hamilton.

Their chemistry on the court is undeniable, and their combined skills have already garnered attention and admiration.

Adding to this formidable lineup is Baron Bellamy, the talented teammate and son of renowned comedian Bill Bellamy, further contributing to the team’s impressive roster.

With Bryce’s debut, the team’s prospects look brighter than ever.

The roaring support from the fans and the unwavering dedication of the parents in the stands only fuel the excitement surrounding this dynamic team, eager to showcase their abilities and leave an indelible mark on the basketball world.

Bryce Maximus James With The Vikings

Bryce James, together with the talented Vikings team, will be under the expert guidance of Coach David Grace, who was brought on board by the school in April.

With a wealth of coaching experience, Grace previously led Centennial High School in Peoria, Arizona, to great success in the previous season.

His extensive background includes assistant coaching positions at prestigious institutions such as Oregon State, UCLA, California, and Vanderbilt, solidifying his reputation as a highly respected figure in the basketball world.

LeBron James, always invested in the future of his children’s basketball careers, firmly believes that playing for Campbell Hall is the ideal next step for Bryce.

Following in the footsteps of his older brother Bronny James, Bryce shares the dream of one day making it to the NBA, and LeBron is dedicated to providing the best opportunities for his youngest son’s development.

In a generous display of their commitment to Campbell Hall, the James family recently made a remarkable donation towards the construction of a state-of-the-art, multi-million-dollar athletic facility on the school grounds.

As reported by ESPN just a week ago, this incredible contribution not only enhances the basketball program but also benefits over 1,000 students attending the school.

Father’s Dream

LeBron James, often referred to as “King James,” has openly shared his ultimate dream of playing alongside his sons in the NBA.

As Bronny James, assuming he spends only one year at USC, becomes eligible for the 2024 NBA Draft, LeBron, at 39 years old, would still have the opportunity to fulfill this dream.

Furthermore, even in 2025, when Bryce James could potentially enter the draft, LeBron, who would be celebrating his 40th birthday, remains open to the possibility of extending his playing career.

The four-time NBA champion has not dismissed the idea of continuing to compete at a high level well into his 40s. The desire to share the court with his sons may serve as a driving force for him to push his limits and extend his playing career.
