Ohio State University head coach Kevin McGuff and his wife, former basketball player Letitia Brown, share a sound married life of 23 years.
Kevin McGuff and Letitia Brown first crossed paths in 1996 at Notre Dame, where both were part of the women’s basketball coaching staff.
During that time, Kevin was an assistant coach, and Letitia was the director of basketball operations. It was their shared love for the sport that sparked a connection.
Eventually, they started seeing each other. Kevin and Letitia dated for six years and got to know each other before taking the next step in their relationship.
Later, their relationship blossomed into something special, and Kevin and Letitia walked down the aisle in 2002.
After years of marriage, the couple has built a basketball-centric household and raised six children: four daughters, Keiryn, Kilyn, Lake, Lily, and two sons, Lukas and Leks.
Kevin and Letitia first embraced the parenthood with the arival of their firstborn, daughter Kilyn McGuff, on May 15, 2003.
Two years later, they welcomed daughter Keiryn McGuff on January 31, 2005. Their son Lukas was born on February 29, 2008, and their daughter, Lake, was born on January 1, 2010.
Likewise, they extended their family of six to seven with their daughter Lily born on July 20, 2011.Whereas, Kevina and Letitia completed their family of eight with their son Leks born on April 4, 2013.
Let alone Kevin and Letitia, basketball runs in the family. Their eldest daughter, Kilyn McGuff, has followed in her parents’ footsteps.
Kilyn McGuff currently plays for the Butler Bulldogs women’s basketball team. She previously played for the Belmont Bruins before transferring to Butler.
As a senior guard, she has been a key player, averaging 12.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game in the 2024-2025 season.
Likewise, their second daughter, Keiryn McGuff, also plays collegiate basketball. She is a guard and forward for the Bowling Green State Falcons and is currently in her sophomore year.
The younger children are still growing, but the family is often spotted, supporting Kevin at games, with Letitia managing the busy household.

Letitia Brown was also involved in basketball, let alone Kevin McGuff. She was a star basketball player at Notre Dame in the 1990s.
She was a standout forward, ranking second on Notre Dame’s all-time rebounds list with 999 and maintaining an impressive rebound average of 8.8 per game.
Letitia Brown also placed eighth in blocked shots (76) and 13th in all-time scoring (1,205 points). Her ability to control the boards and contribute offensively made her a key player for the Fighting Irish.
Beyond her playing career, Letitia transitioned into coaching and administrative roles at Notre Dame.
She served as an assistant coach from 1996 to 1999, later as the director of basketball operations from 1999 to 2001, and as an assistant head coach from 2002 to 2003.
During her tenure, Notre Dame consistently reached the NCAA Tournament, including a Final Four appearance in 1997 and a national championship victory in 2001.
In 2003, Letitia retired from her coaching career to focus on raising their growing family.
