Bryan Arocho, a member of Alers Martial Arts, passed away unexpectedly at 25. He was a part of the Alers Martial Arts family since the beginning days.
His mother, Jesica, requested that Coach Jim share the sad news of his passing with the AMA family.
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is built on thousands of hardworking fighters like Bryan Arocho, while most people only see the famous UFC champions.
He was an MMA fighter who worked his way up in a very tough sport. He ranked as the 5,072nd best fighter in North America, which shows just how many talented people are competing.
His real success was closer to home, where he ranked in 2 North American sub-regions (US Southeast, Florida). He was ranked at Bantamweight in each region as he had fought at least once in the weight class in his last 2 fights.
Moreover, Bryan’s story wasn’t about being a champion, but it was about persistence. He paid his dues and built his record, earning respect on the local circuit.
He worked hard to earn a name for himself, but his dream faded away with his untimely passing.
